I am back! After many months of hiatus on this blog and anxious moments of contemplation about what I wanted to do with this web space,  I have finally decided to return! I won’t start on my philosophical arguments for and against blogging-that is for another time and place.

On to Hong Kong: Hong Kong is an overwhelming experience- think Asian New York City.  With so much to see and do I was completely overwhelmed with the amount of shopping, food, and culture. We only had 2 days in Hong Kong and I don’t even think we tickled the surface of all it has to offer!  The city is equally alive at 3am and 10pm, which is perfect since I woke up on cue at 2am everyday!  I wasn’t in town nearly long enough to experience all that it had to offer. What I did do was eat- Shark Fin Soup which is fabulous. Dine at Tim Ho Wan for Dim Sum, fall in love with The Armoury an incredible collection of Men’s clothing, and go GAGA in Sasa for Japanese mascara! Perhaps my favorite place was the bird market, where one can scope out the retired locals who come by with their birds and hang out, they were not so keen on pictures *much to my dismay!

My pictures don’t do the city justice.
